Estorica is back!! You saw us in open beta but we are up and fully running now. We are so excited and thankful to have a great team of staff and a great starting group of members to help get the forum nice and solid. 

​Website update!

To the left we have a rough draft of a new commission for our background on our website. We are also getting a brand new skin just so we can stay fresh and not get too stuck in our ways. Other new commissions are underway so stay tuned for those as well!

Plot interest check

The map of Tragen is scoured by the eyes of countless travelers who peer over its routes and cities, chief among them being Cinderfall and it’s surrounding areas. Trade routes and supply lines link the great land like blood vessels through a thriving, growing beast. Despite this attention, few eyes still drift over the North-Eastern territory of Tragen known as the Vvale. Knowledge of the Vvale depends on who you ask, as few travel to and from the location aside from ore traders.

The economists and logicians of Cinderfall are quick to point it out as a cornerstone of the capital’s metal ore source, even if it has proved less lucrative in recent years. Merchants and adventurers believe it to be a haunted place where few should linger. The military, despite never having faced an official battle in the region, seem to view the area as a shameful piece of history, and are rarely willing to speak of it.

No matter who you ask, however, a few drinks or spare coins sets loose the lips to reveal the rumors of the accursed corner of Tragen. The wayward daughter of Cinderfall, the mining colony set about by a noble lord that faces the haunting presence of a formless vagary. A dark mist that sweeps the skies and changes what it likes, unable to be touched, unable to be fought. A darkness that haunts the land, laying claim with little care of borders or boundaries.

Some brief, hushed words talk of something larger, but none are willing to be associated with such talk, especially around strangers.

That’s how it was for years, and that’s how it appeared it would be, until the letters started showing up. Recruitment posters and hiring notices, demanding the attention of all who would read them, from all over Tragen.
